"You earn more from stock when you shoot a series, so tell one story across images and upload them as a set"

Benefits of creating a passive income for photographers.

Hey Reader

Recently, I've had a lot of life stuff pull me away from my business. Whilst it's frustrating, even though I've set things up to enable access remotely, I've still not been able to devote as much time to my business as I would like.

But one thing I'm grateful for is taking the time to develop a passive income, whether it's through stock photography, digital assets or using POD services like Printful.

When it comes to creating a passive income, the hardest part isn't the tech, the product ideas or the marketing.

It's getting started.

The first step is always the hardest. Why? Because it's the unknown.

You're unsure what will work.

You don't want to waste time or money (and my time is valuable).

You've already got a lot on your plate. We're all juggling so many things these days: kids, jobs and business, elderly parents, home, and partners.

But here's the thing: once you start, momentum builds quickly.

Your first product leads to your second.

Your first sale shows it's possible.

And soon, you're building an income stream that works for you 24/7.

Need a little more convincing?

Benefits worth taking that first step for:

  • More time freedom - even when you're not working.
  • Extra financial security - no more relying on just client bookings.
  • Creative fulfilment - turn your photos, skills and ideas into products that help others.

You don't need to overhaul your business overnight.
Just one small action this week can put you on the path. It could be researching an idea you may have. Enquiring about some POD services, or looking to supply stock libraries.

Need help figuring out that next step? Why not check out my blog, 'Digital Planning & Passive Income'?

You've got this. And the sooner you start, the sooner you'll see it working for you.

"You build assets you control, so drive traffic to your list, your shop, and your own portfolio first." Have you started to build some stability? Hey Reader When I first started, I thought success meant being fully booked. Week after week, I juggled shoots, editing, emails, invoices, and social posts. I was working all the time, but my business still felt fragile. One slow month and everything wobbled. It hit me that I'd build a job, not a business. The turning point came when I began...

"You make progress when you cut noise, so mute the distractions and finish the one task that pays you" I'm testing, learning & growing on Facebook. Hey Reader I had a really deep 1:1 with my business coach last week. I’ve been working with her for four years now. I never realised how valuable having a coach was until I found myself stuck, unsure what direction to take next. During our chat, we talked about social platforms. And if you’re anything like me, you probably hate the constant churn,...
